The team here at PTR knows how difficult it can be to plan and
organize that major event. Below, we have listed some tips
that we hope will make your task easier. These tips come from
various sources and are proven to be beneficial.

Before The Event |
|
|
- Get a tax I.D. number.
- Look at the break down of the people for whom you are
planning.
Example: disable, adults, teenagers, small
children, etc.
- Find out how many plan to attend by:
A. Phone
B. Mail
C. E-mail

During The Event |
|
|
- Make sure that all participants receive and sign for their
registration packet. Get any change of address at this time.
- Make sure that everything is in place for all of the
activities. Make a checklist and check it off as things are
done.
- Assist family members who have problems or questions.
- Say something nice to each committee member or just give
them a hug.

After The Event |

See your guest off with a goodbye hug.

Pick up your materials left over from the reunion.

Get off your feet; get a good nap.

Follow up on anything you promised to forward to a relative.
Close all the reunion accounts.

- Heritage Theme: This theme focuses on the family's
ascendants and their special achievements.
- African Safari Theme: This theme focuses on sites
and thrills of the a Safari hunt.
- Specific Year Theme (e.g.: ,'50s,'70s,etc.): This
theme focuses on the styles and popular trends of a specific
year. (Note: This is a popular theme for class reunion).
